Session format/audience:
The Electron Microscopy Workshop is intended for investigators who are interested in learning how they can utilize electron microscopy to enhance their research programs. Faculty and trainees who have no previous exposure to electron microscopy methods are welcome to attend. Investigators interested in applying for Electron Microscopy Core Pilot Project Grants are particularly encouraged to attend.
Abstract:
The Electron Microscopy Workshop will describe different types of data and analyses that transmission and scanning electron microscopy methods can provide. The capabilities of the electron microscopes and related equipment available in the KBRIN Electron Microscope Core will be presented. Furthermore, participants will be able to learn how they can utilize the core facilities resources to enhance their research programs.
