Steven P. Jones, PhD, FAHA
Professor of Medicine and University Scholar
Director, Diabetes and Obesity Center
University of Louisville
Selected abstracts will be taken from basic, clinical, and/or population studies. This will be a highly diverse and interdisciplinary session.
Lecture/seminar style session will consist of one plenary session (45 minutes, plus 15 minutes for discussion); six abstracts selected from submissions (each will be 12 minutes presentation, plus 3 minutes discussion).
Although the focus of this session is on the cardiovascular system, we anticipate that those interested in diabetes, toxicology, inflammation, and metabolism will also be interested. Selected abstracts will be taken from a broad cross-section of interests.
