ISPCTN Thematic Platform Session

The IDeA States Pediatric Clinical Trials Network (ISPCTN) was established as part of the Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) program. The ISPCTN is make up of 17 clinical site awardees, all located in IDeA States. The ISPCTN is working to provide an opportunity for children in rural and medically underserved locations to participate in state-of-the-art clinical trials. The ISPCTN aims to enhance pediatric clinical trial capacity at state and national levels and to facilitate the implementation of well-designed clinical trials in pediatric populations.

Talks can span topics related to pediatric clinical research, and professional development.

 Session format:

Lecture/seminar-style with one plenary talk (30 minutes), 5 abstract-selected short talks (~15 minutes each), and a series of abstract-selected flash talks (1 minute each).

 Session audience:

The ISPCTN thematic platform session is intended for trainees, staff scientists, faculty and NIH directors/staff who are interested in learning about advances in pediatric research.
